The story of the Sport Hotel in Livigno, which has started in the 1960s with the grandparants Cecilia and Severino, is deeply connected to the Compagnoni family. The relation of Severino Compagnoni to the mountains and the love to sports and especially ski nordic transformed into the pleasure for hospitality, understood as an invitation to share the beauty of our alps. In 1954 the story of the Compagnoni family starts with taking at rent the "rifugio casati" in the Ortles-Cevedale area. In 1968 Severino and Cecilia finally started the history of the Sport Hotel. In 1979 they took over the charge of directly managing the hotel, together with their daughter Ester. Today..Ester, together with her family, started a new chapter in the history of the Sport Hotel with a completely new design.
